Aplications for the Intermediate level
The objectives of this level are to show you and have you use real-world
applications of middle school (grades 5-8) math and science topics:
scale modeling
two-dimensional drawing
calculating dimensions
applying concepts of force and energy
performing a computer simulation
This web site might be used in the classroom during the introduction of these
curriculum topics. This level will also show you how these things are connected to
subjects like social studies and history. You'll look at the pros and cons of
dams and see the impacts of engineering.
